Great Friends Horde Frostmourne Guild

I haven't had much interest lately in questing, but I'm getting pushed a little from another guild member. A little competition in comparing Achievement scores. There's a birthday party today so not sure if I can fully commit this weekend. My Orc Death Knight finally completed all of the Achievements available in the world event Love is in the Air. Will have to get the mount next year if I'm still playing World of Warcraft. I was watching another beta video on YouTube of Diablo III. Thinking how much time is going to be wasted playing another game. The longer Blizzard takes to release the game, the longer it takes me to think of reasons for not playing online anymore.

If only World of Warcraft was as funny as comedy shows on television. I sometimes ask myself, does playing games online make me happy? I don't think the game ever made me truly happy. It was just interesting. The game was made for relaxing and for not causing stress. That's a deal breaker in my idealistic world. So to sum it all up I think I'll start making a list for when you know it's time to stop playing.

1. This is such a waste of time.
2. This is boring.
3. This does not interest me.
4. I've forgotten the last time I laughed.
5. There's something more exciting on television.

Honestly, I'm pretty bored of World of Warcraft. What makes me keep coming back though? Must be the endless scores of Achievements. Making friends online seems like a bonus, but not something I would take seriously. Unless of course they're genuine people. Most people I meet in World of Warcraft I don't form a relationship with. Just a bunch of strangers wanting to relax and have some fun. Well, some do the opposite. I'm sure you've met those people who just want to cause strife. If you haven't then you haven't played enough. Love is in the Air World Event is a bit of a grind. Collecting Love Tokens isn't exactly speedy. We do get two weeks though.

The thing about the Achievement Darkmoon Despoiler is that you must hand in all artifact quests in the same month. I just got the Darkmoon Balloon for the price of 90 Darkmoon Prize Tickets. Now to figure out what to spend the other Tickets on. I don't have the patience to complete Darkmoon Duelist anytime soon. Have to wait until 6:00pm for Love is in the Air World Event. Darkmoon Faire begins at midnight. The latest Guild Achievement Great Friends has attained is A Difficult Challenge. All 100 of them coming from 5man Dungeons. We have yet to complete any Raid or Rated Battleground challenges.

Love is in the Air World Event is coming tomorrow again this year. It actually overlaps with the Lunar Festival. Darkmoon Faire begins tomorrow also. With all these events happening this week, you would think Diablo 3 would be released by now. A few easy Achievements still need to be made in Ulduar and Naxxramas. Going to attempt the Baradin Hold Raid with Great Friends guild next week. The only issue is seeing if enough people show up and Horde has control. I'm not sure if it is a bug, but the Guild Bank Permissions need to be fixed. You would expect that if a rank is only permitted one stack withdrawal per day then one stack withdrawal per day is meant to happen. Not two stack withdrawals. Anyway, back to the game.

Going to make this quick because I haven't eaten lunch yet (in real life). Watching Princess Protection Program also on TV. Yep, totally not related to the topic. Multitasking while playing World of Warcraft. It's going to take a while to convince randoms to complete a full clear of Baradin Hold raid. Planning on doing Naxxramas 25man raid next Saturday. Have a few Achievements left in Northrend. Well, that's it for now. Great Friends still recruiting whatever.

Before I forget, Blizzard always announces maintenance time in their zone. Meaning that you would have to convert the time where you live. In my case, I would count 19 hours ahead (Example: Their time = 3:00am; My time = 10:00pm). Lunar Festival still has more than a week before closure, but all my Achievements are completed already for this World Event. I have three more World Events to finish throughout the year.

I changed the name of a few Ranks in Great Friends guild other than the Guild Master:

Rank 2 = Great Master
Rank 3 = Rated Master
Rank 10 = Pet Master

I haven't been leveling my Orc Mage because it's that boring! Will eventually get on with it when there's plenty of time to waste. Oh and yeah, my Achievement Score is over 10k now. Great Friends is still recruiting some Trolls for Stay Classy Guild Achievement.

Lunar Festival is on right now. Something to do other than mindlessly grinding. Will probably finish off all the Achievements available in the Lunar Festival during the long weekend of Australia Day. Oh, it's also Chinese New Year today. Only six characters left to complete Stay Classy. This Achievement takes months! In this case it's taken more than a year... Great Friends can finish off Baradin Hold one day. It's an easy Raid in Tol Barad. All we need are the numbers. I believe 25man Trial of the Grand Crusader is also doable to PuG. Still need to recruit or wait for others to level up. Some guild members have been helping fish for That's a Lot of Bait! Many thanks to them.

In less than an hour a guild member has volunteered to run a Firelands raid. I may be joining to tank if I don't plan to go out. Still need to eat lunch though. I also recently earned two other Achievements other than 2500 Daily Quests Complete. To The Ground! is from a Cataclysm Heroic Dungeon and Petting Zoo is from collecting 100 Pets. Great Friends guild still requires an Orc Rogue and Orc Mage to complete Classy Orcs Achievement. I'm working on an Orc Mage, but that character is only Level 11. I've attempted Fire, Walk With Me most of the time and have failed because the Alliance have picked up the flag. Getting to the other side is not a big issue unless you have a Rogue or Mage on your tail. Pretty much anything that can push or pull you backwards, stun or slow you down is bad.

I'm itching to play other games right now. Slowly gaining some achievements from Northrend Raids. I found out you can solo Molten Core. Meaning you don't need a group to enter the instance. Slowly been fishing pools too. I'll eventually get my Iron Chef Achievement from cooking. It's going to take a little while longer though for Stay Classy. The most troublesome will be troll Death Knight. Since you can only create one Death Knight per realm. I'm also getting tired of recruiting new guild members. Don't really want to invite high maintenance players.
