Great Friends Horde Frostmourne Guild

I could probably find better things to do than leveling up Archaeology. I could probably find better things to do than play World of Warcraft also. Classy Trolls for Great Friends Guild should be completed this week. Only one character remains for Stay Classy and that is the Orc Rogue. I put a deadline for the guild members to raise an Orc Rogue preferably before April 23. If not, then I'll end up doing it myself. Not much happening today apart from Daylights Savings. Move your clock one hour backwards. Next week another World Event is available. I haven't done much in Noblegarden Ends so that's going to be an Achievement Fest week. I was hoping I'd recruit some more members for Guild Battlemasters. That's probably going to take forever.

Waited a while to finally complete Oceanographer. Summer Bass is not available to fish for half the year. Diablo III is being released on May 15 and I've already downloaded the client. I'm wondering if the new expansion of World of Warcraft will actually come first. The beta version of Mists of Pandaria seems to be up and running if you've been invited to the test servers. The last character to complete Stay Classy is a Troll Priest. The other players are pretty active and may be finished in about a month. I think my Death Knight's gear is pretty much complete by the end of this week. Only way to upgrade gear is by doing Rated PvP or Raiding.

It's Labour Day and I'm spending some time playing games online. I've been keeping a close eye on Diablo III Development these past few weeks. Great Friends guild is two characters closer to achieving Stay Classy. I'll probably finish off my Orc Mage either this week or the next. Reminds me of talking to someone where I never seem to have a complete answer. That's my life now I guess. In order for things to change one must not stay grounded. Feels like I'm trying to put in a hidden message. I don't plan on moving out of Melbourne anytime soon. However, my dad wanted to go visit Philippines as one of his relatives passed away. His excuse is he is working and not having enough money. I'm still deciding what to do with all my money saved up. If I decide to continue playing Blizzard games I'm going to have to find a way to make some income out of it. My Death Knight is currently scoring #3 in the Top Achievements list. I still have the most Guild Activity though. I'm aware that other people I know may find me online. That's not a surprise.

Before getting into World of Warcraft there's a long weekend coming up. Monday is a public holiday for Labor Day. I believe Moomba is also being celebrated in Melbourne, but I won't be attending. With the latest Achievement I bothered to do tonight... it wasn't that exciting. Blasted Lands have quests that requires running around in caves. This requires a little patience as mounts are not usable indoors. Server Restart at 12:15am so I just logged off. Questing is really tedious, but the easiest Achievements to score without much effort.

WARCRAFT: Horde – Frostmourne – Achievement – 10690

Spending most of my free time on World of Warcraft in the weekend. Been checking up on Diablo III development also. Trying to level up my Orc Mage to get one step closer to Stay Classy. Great Friends currently has 574 guild members. The numbers go up and down, but I'm not really chasing up on it. Long as there's some type of activities going on that's good enough for me. Co-owner of the guild is still playing Rift. Not sure where the other co-owner is. There is one Achievement I've been tracking for a while:

There's a guild member who wants to do some Arena PvP. I am already in a 2v2 team so I'm not much help. My team mate is inactive. A lot of guild achievements are still needed in the PvP sector. It was trouble enough trying to get two guild members for Guild Dungeon Challenges x7 for the week. Most people in Frostmourne are in Australia I believe.

MU: Level 250 – Global – Valhalla – Blade Knight

I'm taking a little break from my full time job because it's getting painful. I downloaded the latest Mu client to see what is new with the game. There's an event that will last until the ides of March (2012) where you can create a Level 220 character in Valhalla. Your new avatar will have gear to put on straight away, but no Zen. In the screenshot below, I added attributes to each character so that they can equip their items. My current Level 250 Blade Knight named SherwinJTB is on autopilot at the moment. He is able to attack and loot while I go AFK. However, his bag gets full pretty quickly. The experience is still nice though.

Spending quite some time on some pointless Achievements lately, but whatever increases the score. Currently working on Glory of the Cataclysm Hero. Only two meta Achievements left to complete it. The weather is pretty hot in my room. I've probably been most active in Great Friends lately. Haven't really been social as much lately on other networks. Perfidy who is another guild member has 140 Achievement Points more than myself. Perfidy is also #9 for guild activity. Something about Guild Activity doesn't sound right about rank positions. However, I don't really mind on a low maintenance guild. Appreciate loyal players.

I haven't had much interest lately in questing, but I'm getting pushed a little from another guild member. A little competition in comparing Achievement scores. There's a birthday party today so not sure if I can fully commit this weekend. My Orc Death Knight finally completed all of the Achievements available in the world event Love is in the Air. Will have to get the mount next year if I'm still playing World of Warcraft. I was watching another beta video on YouTube of Diablo III. Thinking how much time is going to be wasted playing another game. The longer Blizzard takes to release the game, the longer it takes me to think of reasons for not playing online anymore.

If only World of Warcraft was as funny as comedy shows on television. I sometimes ask myself, does playing games online make me happy? I don't think the game ever made me truly happy. It was just interesting. The game was made for relaxing and for not causing stress. That's a deal breaker in my idealistic world. So to sum it all up I think I'll start making a list for when you know it's time to stop playing.

1. This is such a waste of time.
2. This is boring.
3. This does not interest me.
4. I've forgotten the last time I laughed.
5. There's something more exciting on television.

Honestly, I'm pretty bored of World of Warcraft. What makes me keep coming back though? Must be the endless scores of Achievements. Making friends online seems like a bonus, but not something I would take seriously. Unless of course they're genuine people. Most people I meet in World of Warcraft I don't form a relationship with. Just a bunch of strangers wanting to relax and have some fun. Well, some do the opposite. I'm sure you've met those people who just want to cause strife. If you haven't then you haven't played enough. Love is in the Air World Event is a bit of a grind. Collecting Love Tokens isn't exactly speedy. We do get two weeks though.
