BattleTag Sherwin#6227: I just completed normal difficulty in hardcore mode. It's looking pretty lonely in Nightmare at the moment. I haven't really got much else to say apart from spending a lot of gold on crafting. Dealing massive amounts of damage doesn't seem to be a problem with a Barbarian. If in trouble just drink a healing potion. I've seen myself dealing around 1k damage already because of critical hits. I can't be bothered selling stuff in Auction House right now. Looking at my profile screen I've collected over 200k Gold. Guess it's time for round two.

Taking a step back from World of Warcraft and moving onto Diablo again. My BattleTag is Sherwin#6277. Hardcore is looking pretty empty at my level. There aren't that many who are playing in Act 3. I've already seen a couple of people having to start over. I'm not going to bother updating my achievements in this game. Blizzard will introduce profiles soon so you can have a look at my characters later in their website if you want. My laptop is heating up so I'm having trouble with continuation of game-play. There was also a slight hiccup with Battle servers being offline for two hours. I'm feeling a little better so not going to be plan on playing much tomorrow. Still have to finish a job until the end of this month. Online gaming addiction is out of the question these next few weeks.

Children's Week began today again for this year. I'm always thinking what if I take away World of Warcraft from my life? Sucked into an endless loop of rewarding yet pointless Achievements. Makes me want to write a book about it. I'll make it my one month project. I really need to recover fast. The funny thing is... I feel there's only one thing that has a stronger influence than online gaming. This is going to sound corny, but it's love. Having a single life makes me wonder who are my true friends? If I can count them right now (excluding relatives) I may have only two. Plus one if I include the girl that I want to be with for the rest of my life. First step to online gaming addiction is quitting. Will have to start making preparations now.

Another Public Holiday to spend some more gaming time online. If you live in Australia we celebrate ANZAC Day. This coming weekend is another World Event called Children's Week. I've actually completed most of the Achievements from Children's Week. The only one left is Veteran Nanny. Watching TV and they're talking about sleep deprivation. Great Friends is slowly growing in numbers. Guild Dungeon Challenges have already been completed this week. Still recruiting for Guild Battlemasters and Better Leveling Through Chemistry. Anyway, thinking of doing a little bit of dancing after lunch.

DIABLO: Hardcore – Level 13 – Beta – Barbarian

I'm not really that interested in playing the other types of Classes at the moment. I defeated Open Beta of Hardcore in Diablo III numerous times before reaching Level 13 on my Barbarian. I did have some preferences in play styles though. Save up Gold first for training the Blacksmith. Crafting items to increase Strength for the Barbarian. Buying Rings with added Damage and Attack Speed. Considering my character had decent damage he no longer needed to Stun enemies. However, when mobs get tougher the skill to Stun will turn out quite useful.

Time to go back to World of Warcraft.

This just goes to show how far a crap internet service provider will get you. Wireless router with an ADSL2+ connection. No support with the equipment they offer. Anyway, I was just about to reach level 13 on my hardcore barbarian when there was a disconnection. Time played was less than 4 hours. Anyone can create a hardcore character if they make it to level 10 in normal. The Auction House is not reliable in beta. I created an auction the other day and the item disappeared. There's no items being sold in hardcore either. I don't plan to play beta anymore. My barbarian was topping 45 base damage before reaching max level in beta.

While World of Warcraft is on maintenance I thought I'd play a little more Diablo III Beta. The first character I created was a Barbarian. Not really sure if it's worth putting in Magic Find stats on gear at such a low level. My Barbarian needs more Strength. Blacksmith isn't really useful after some training since we can't level up higher than 13. The screenshots only seem to work fine in full screen mode.

These are the skills I went with:
Frenzy (Left Click)
Rend - Ravage (Right Click)
Ground Stomp - Rolling Thunder (1)
Revenge (2)
Ruthless (Passive)

Big news for this week is the completion of Stay Classy. Great Friends finally has the 8th Guild Bank Tab. That puts us on 1465 Guild Achievement Points. To celebrate I've allowed ranked Guild Members the option for Guild Repairs. I don't think we'll have any problems achieving It All Adds Up. Noblegarden World Event ends tomorrow. Thankfully I completed everything I wanted, but maybe aim for the mount next year. I think some guild members wants to run a BWD raid tomorrow too. I should probably refresh my memory if I want to join them.

On another note, Blizzard sent out Beta invites for World of Warcraft and Diablo III. I downloaded and installed Diablo III Beta and defeated it at around Level 8. There's something wrong with taking screenshots though. Hopefully it gets fixed later on.

Noblegarden event has begun at about 6:00pm. It's similar to a very long egg hunt. The World Event is only available for one week through the year so should probably finish it all quite soon. Some guild members are getting restless and wanting to raid more with Great Friends. We probably have enough people for 10man mode. Doing some raids actually boost my achievement points a fair bit. I'm selfishly aiming for 100k honorable kills at the moment. Still recruiting for Guild Battlemasters. Busy playing right now so can't think of much to say.

Completed two Guild Achievements just a few hours ago with Great Friends: That's A Lot of Bait and Classy Trolls. I wasn't online though when guild members were fishing. I have a long Easter weekend coming up. Didn't really plan on what I was going to do. I don't think I've been invited to the WoW Beta of the next expansion yet even though it was promised with the annual subscription deal. Don't really have time to play Beta anyway. So, it's past midnight again and I'm still awake. Haven't eaten dinner also. Talk about being addicted and most of the people I play with online I've never met before. It's a little sad.

Diablo III is soon to be released in the ides of next month.
